Where
To check out a book, bring it to the Circulation Desk. You will need to
be currently registered and will be asked to present picture ID, such as
your university ID card or driver's license.
How Long
The borrowing period is 5 weeks for regularly circulating items. Reserve
items may be checked out for 2 hours or 1 week depending on the item.
Request a Book
If the book you want is checked out, you can ensure that you will be next
in line to get it. Requesting a book will also prevent the person with the
book from renewing it. You can request books from all three locations: Pleasant
Hill, San Jose and Berkeley. You can place a hold using your account within
the library catalog. You will be notified when the book is available for
you.
